Custom fake cake made to resemble a ready-made grocery store cake. The cake itself was made from a margarine container, surrounded by rings of insulation foam, and iced with caulking. The cake was spray painted chocolate brown and a drizzle of darker brown acrylic was added on top. The candles needed to be flameless for theatre purposes, and LED number candles could not be sourced, so they were built. The candles are hollow and made of cardboard, covered in caulking. All wiring is hidden inside the margarine container.

The LEDs are wired to a switch at the back of the cake that the performer would switch on when he "lit" the candles, and off when they were "blown out".
